If I make this crew and travel north... I plan on continuing these reports... and If this thing settles and I am playing somewhere in the minors I will continue them also...
Today we played the Astros and I got my first reunion with my former team... well, there were only 3 guys I remembered from my days with the Stros... I know more of the coaching staff than the players...
The arm felt very strong today... they have started to use me more in the set-up role now and I am starting to feel that 'fire-in-the-belly' determination to make this club.. even though it is replacements... it is still competition and some guys are starting to feel the pinch...
After yesterdays game they told 8 or 10 players that they have 72 hours and if there was not a team interested they would be sent home... I know of a couple guys... but none were released to the press..
