The phone lines were down for 24 hours at the hotel...

we lost one of our toughest ones yet...

We had a 3-0 lead going in to the top of the 9th.. and sent Mike Browning out for the 9th to shut them down...

We woke a sleeping giant... they scored 6 runs in the ninth 4 runs with 2 out and lost what would have been a great win...

This is not a good time to have an outing like that

Mike has been around a while and realizes this...

The last 12 games they start to use guys like in real season situations... lefties come in to faced lefties.. .and pinch hitters to face their counterparts... the early games are more to get guys feet wet and evaluate... we are in a we need a win mode... which is good for this group of guys, one thing is that we DO! need to win more. We have one bad inning pitching wise and its over... also our offence is not getting runners in from 2nd or 3rd with none or one out... they realize this... but the games when we have a 3 run lead going into the 9th ... you expect to win...

The arm feels good...

I need to quit and get to the 17th..

I am sending this report on the 17th because the phone lines were down last night...

later..
