Well after the come from behind victory on Saturday.. we were fired up to play the tigers at home. Scott Anderson started for us and threw 5 innings giving up just 2 runs in the second... we scored 1 in the first and dropped a 5 spot on the Motor City Madmen in the second...
I left after 5 to spend some time in the training room in the hot tub. need to work out a little pull in my scapula.. up under my shoulder blade, I'm not worried about it. but I don't want it to get worse.
Pat Perry and myself are traveling again tomorrow, we are on that throw one day get one off throw again set-up... they are trying to see how we withstand to the throwing and get an idea of how to use us...
I have no problem with it as long as my work is less than 2 innings. anything more and I would need two days off. this arm just does'nt bounce back like it used to...
I have heard rumblings of the strike lasting the whole year... with the strike continuing and the season on hold for the REAL guys to play... it would be another tainted season if they started later and then tried to make up games or cancelled games... this won't happen with the snails pace the union and owners are taking on getting this solved...I understand the fans standpoint... but I for one won't mind making a great wage for 6 months, having some fun one more summer and getting myself in shape to boot!!! Let the millionaires quarrel some more!!!
Our defence is really picking up, and our hitting is starting to get hot... it was just a matter of time before everything started clicking, not to say we are hitting on all cylinders just yet... we are starting to get warm... wait until the season starts... I can see us doing some good things...
