The Replacement Royals are back in winning form after losing yesterday to the 'TRAVESTY' Reds we came back and beat the Cardinals 2-1 in the bottom of the 10th inning at Haines City...

The atmosphere today was one of silence.. it was Black Friday... they put up a sign that stated pay day was moved to Saturday. that opened up a few eyes this morning.. this meant that they were either going to let the last 7 guys go today after the game or tomorrow morning...

We have 39 players in camp as of this report... 17 pitchers... the rumor is they are going to carry 15 or 16 pitchers... so 1 or 2 have to go! and 5 or 6 position players...

In my one frame I had a hard time finding the dish... Grotewold asked me if the plate had roller skates on it because it looked like it was moving all over the place!!! and all I could say was YES!!! I walked the first hitter in the 8th with the score tied at 1-1 SIN #1, then got the next guy to pop to the cather (Mitch Lyden) on a good 1-2 curve. Our 1st baseman Ed Jurak then put on the pick-off at first, I answered and came set and went over... I picked him off! and that was two outs... It turns out that Ed had heard the first base coach tell the guy he was going on that pitch... Thanks Ed!!! then I faced a lefty Howard Prager who I played with while with the Astros.. I fell behind 3-0 and then tossed a cookie in there for strike one and a decent fastball away for a fly ball to center... but I walked the lead-off hitter and fell behind a lefty 3-0... two sins of a left-handed reliever...But the arm felt strong today... and I was trying to overthrow... I just need to be reminded of my past to bring myself down and throw more within myself... getting ahead. getting my curve ball over and using my fastball to set up the other stuff...

I really goofed yesterday... first I did'nt even put the name of the movie I watched and second I forgot to leave you all a clue on how the game went... with the thought of roster cuts coming I must have had vapor-lock or something...

keep up the input... so far I have one negative email and tons of positive replies...

It also looks like this will be making its way to GNN... a reporter out of Atlanta has caught wind of this and is putting it on the GNN sports page...kinda cool, huh?

anyway... gotta go eat my 1 millionth Denny's Grand Slam this spring...

Quote of the day: listen to the words of 'Feelings' on Van Halen's new album Balance. best song they have ever done... case closed...
