Well.. without miracles the season will start with the X-men...
just got back from Viera and playing the Marlins and saw the news on CNN... When will the players get smart and get rid of Fehr... he has his beliefs... but I really feel they are hurting the game!!!
I can remember a union meeting one spring about 3 or 4 years ago in Kissimmee while I was with the Astros... he spoke of how the MLB logo needed a kick start and they wee going to try to make the superstars names household names... and to really pump up the international scene... well they have not done $%^& in any area... the game is slowly hanging itself... people want to see baseball.. and they want the real players.. we replacements know this... and are not trying to replace them... just fill in while they are gone...You don't get quite the same performance from a temp secretary do you? they are there just to fill in and do some of the basic tasks... that is the role of the replacement...
We know our place... and will exit gracefully when this thing is over...

I had a good curve ball but the umpire was not a good breaking ball ump... he missed two curves on a lefty with a 2-2 count... one was good and put the count at 3-2 and the 3-2 was really good... Bob Boone snapped on the umpire.. I really like that... he knew it was a good pitch and I felt he was backing me up... you would be amazed how well guys play when they know the manager will back them up...
I am slowly getting this arm into shape... I just hope the whole thing can end soon and I can go about pursuing a true assault on getting back to the Bigs.. I am getting that fire in my belly again and will perform as a replacement but would really like to make it back the real way...
